Brooches are the new items that we propose for sale.

We are making collections and sell them the way we propose them by theme or colour or genre. These small items can easily rejuvenate outfits that need some updating or you could add them on a LBD or on top of buttons on a shirt. Our aim is to make collections that are statements and should be worn on outfits in a non traditional way.They date from the 1930s to the present. Although most of them are from the 1960s to the 1990s. And some of them are Victorian.I show you some examples of collections of brooches that are ready to be worn.

These brooches are for sale at collectionsof. for between 100 and 150 dollar per set.

I leave to other people to describe the collection. I can only show pictures of what is a collection of rare beauty and simplicity, wearable and super chic. I see much of my friends wearing pieces of this collection, because it is much their personality.

Let’s start with pictures.

VERONIQUE BRANQUINHO.

These clothes are all in simplicity and reminds me of the GUCCI show in Milan. this collection has the same pared down look as found in the couture of the sixties.Only references no copying. Influences by Mme. Grés and ancient Greece in the fluidity of the garments. I don’t know, but it is what jumps into my mind.. I’m lyric about this collection and proud that she is doing so well and again a great Belgian talent on fashion firmament.

To wear armbands on the upper arm can be a bit ordinary but here in this collection it is completely right and even chic especially on top of the white shirt and in fact with all other clothes…. Trendsetting…. I think.

It looks as the boats are floating in the air above the sea.

The colour of the water fades into the colour of the air and gives the illusion that the horizon is much lower then it actually is..

I like a non sophisticated look for myself.No fashion victim (anymore lol) but I absolutely like to be well dressed. I show you some pictures from the style that I am wearing, Unfortunately I can’t yet take images of myself to post and show you, Maybe in the future.

I love to mix designer pieces,(Dries Van Noten is one of my favourite designers) and the cheapest clothes that I can find. My favourite shop is PRIMARK. for pants, shirts, and the thing that is in fashion, as army pants, bright coloured chinos and I always buy their fab socks. I like UNIQLO as well(cashmeres)and the designer editions from H&M.

At the moment I like to combine jeans jackets with combat pants and heavy shoes. because of the weather right now,

Otherwise chinos, nice belt, designer or not and white or grey T shirt and I’m a crazy bag lover… and I like brown suede shoes….

I’m lucky to choose my own style and I don’t have to fit in a peculiar dressing code.

Looking through old magazine cuttings I stumbled upon these images of rooms I loved very much.

I don’t remember from whom, most of the houses are or from which magazine the pictures came.

I love the combination of the materials and colours. Suzani on the wall and panther and tiger prints and the red/white striped cloth on the table.

Perfect balance and symmetry. I love the abaca carpet. (dried banana leaves)

Style mixing with class. Ethereal atmosphere.

All white and slipcovers. The inhabitants just left this space for the picture to be taken.

So chic and personal.

I took pictures from the photos, They are not the best, but I wanted to show the atmosphere of these places. The feeling they have, to have grown with the time and not just decorated by a decorateur with his recognisable signature.

Polo‘s with crocodile logo I believe that we all have them in our closets. Nice for week ends but not more that exclusive as Fred Perry, Ralph Lauren , Abercrombie and Fitch and a multitude of brands have the same models and colours but of course their own logo.

Ralph Lauren and A&F have their fashion collections to show what their style is.

That is what Lacoste is also doing now and brilliantly.

When I first looked at the collection of Felipe Oliviera Baptista for Lacoste I thought immediately about André Courrèges and Pierre Cardin in the sixties.

Clothes inspired by sports of course such as Rugby, skiing,bowling and mountain motoring made a very wearable and urban collection.

Bravo Lacoste, You are refreshing.
