WATERSTONES. British Icon.
A typical shop in the lanes.
The most famous haberdashery in East Sussex.
The local Bond Street.
Thanks for reading this second post about my town.
I love the buildings
Sorry for the late reply, You are right. There are some amazing buildings in Brighton. Just walk with an open mind and ones eyes looking around and you will discover gems.
Thank you so much for the comment.
Great photos and comments. What a sunny day you chose for the photographs and Brighton looks so quiet with such a small number of people shopping, (which as I live in Brighton I know to be rather unusual.) Oh, Dockerills is the most famous Ironmongers in East Sussex. The most famous Haberdashery is up the street :-0)
Thank you for your comment. Brighton is indeed an exciting city and of course the weather helps a lot, certainly when there is no strong wind.
Mister Read, You are right. I didn’t find the exact word and suddenly the TV eerie Are you being served came to my mind and the word haberdashery I remembered…… lol…. Indeed it is ironmonger. Another lovely English word.
